Rachel
Rachel was born on May 5, in Long Island; she grew up in the same neighbourhood as Ross and Monica, and went to the same school as well. She has two sisters, Jill and Amy. When she ran away from her wedding with Barry, the only person she knew in New York was Monica so she went to look for her and there she met Chandler, Phoebe, Joey and Ross, Monica's friends and brother. She ended up being a part of the group after they helped her to find a job, and a place to live (because her father wouldn't give her any more money).
Rachel already knew Ross from high school (when Ross had a huge crush on Rachel) but during their whole friendship they dated several times and they finally ended up together with Emma, their daughter, but to get to that point they had to go trough a lot.
Her friends got her a job as a waitress but it wasn't working out so Rachel got a job in fashion working as a personal assistant at Fortunata Fashions. Later on, she got a job as an assistant buyer at Bloomingdale's with the help of colleague Mark( who caused a lot of trouble in her relationship with Ross). After that she got another job but she was fired and then got an offer to move to Paris for a great job but she stayed in New York with Ross, Emma and her friends.
Monica Geller
Monica is a character on the famous TV serie “Friends”, she was born the 22 th of march in 1971, her brother is Ross Geller, she is the daughter of Judy Geller and Jack Geller. She works as a chef in restaurants. When she was younger she was very fat, but a few years later she lost weight. Because of her obsession with marriage and maternity her relationships ended badly. At the end of “Friends” she married Chandler Bing, another one of the characters. In high school she met Rachel Green and since then they have been very good friends.
Rachel
Rachel Karen Green is an insecure, irresponsible woman who improved with time.
She was about to marry with Barry Finkel (an ortopedist) but Rachel fled the wedding. Then her life changed completely, and she started a new chapter in her life. She went to Monica´s house (a friend) for help and then Rachel started to live with her.
Rachel didn’t have any idea about how to get a job, so she started to work in `Central Perk´ as a waitress.
She had many romances and failures or disappoinments witch her relationships.
A review
Hi! Welcome again to all of our readers. Today we are going to talk about one of the best episodes of friends; it was chosen by the public this week. The episode is “The one with the thumb”.
In the episode we can recognize three important parts. At the beginning Chandler was helping Joey with his lines; he was teaching Joey how to smoke, how to use his hand. The problem was that Chandler started smoking again after that.
Another part is when Monica dated a new guy who all of her friends liked, but she didn’t.
The last part, but not the least, was when Phoebe discovered that her bank made a mistake when they deposited another person’s money in her account.
This is a little summary of the episode of friends this week.
The Biography of Monica Geller
Monica is Judy and Jack Geller’s daugheter, and of course is Ross Geller’s sister.
She has an authoritarian character, she is obsessed with order and cleanliness and very competitive.
She went to the secundary school with Rachel Green with whom she started a very special friendship.
In her adolescense Monica was dangerously obese, that detail somehow marked the development of her later life.
For the sixth season she marries Chandler, and finally they adopt two children in the last season.

Characters
Ross Geller: Monica´s older brother. He is a palaeontologist. He works as a professor at University and in a Museum. He’s been in love with Rachel since high school. They´ve been together and then broke up many times. He was married twice and had a child with his first wife who is a lesbian. He got Rachel pregnant from Emma, although they are not married.
Monica Geller: She is a professional chef. She used to be very fat when she was in high school. Rachel is her best friend. She is very competitive and obsessed with cleaning and order. In Ross´ second wedding, in London, she got drunk and had sex with Chandler and then they got maried. Monica´s parents prefer Ross over her and that bothers Monica.
Joey Tribbiani: He is an actor. His most famous character is a doctor in the soap opera "Days of our lives". He’s Chandler’s roommate. He came from an Italian family with seven sisters. He is not as cleaver as his friends but he is very funny and handsome. He knows how to deal with women.
Rachel Green: She met Monica and her friends while she was running away from her own wedding. She decided to work and earn her own money. She fell in love with Ross and after lots of quarrels they had a baby girl called Emma.
Chandler Bing: He is the funniest of them. He works in an office. His parents are divorced because his father is a transvestite. He and Monica have low chances of having a baby so they decided to adopt but ir ends un being twins.
Phoebe Buffay: She had a hard childhood. Her biological mother left her and Ursula (Phoebe´s twin) with a woman who killed herself a few years later. She lived on the street many years. Now she´s a masseur and sometimes she writes crazy songs like "Smelly cat". Her brother fell in love with an older woman so Phoebe carried his babies, and then she gave them tree beautiful kids. Years later she married Mike, someone who Joey had invited to a blind date with Phoebe. Sometimes she lives in her own crazy world where cats are possessed by his mother´s soul and she doesn´t believe the theory of evolution.
